DO NOT go to anywhere else for your Safari and be sure that you go to Julius in the Orange Office. Don't be misled by anyone else. I contacted Julius last year by email after seeing the reviews here. The reviews are true and we had the best time on our safari. Julius was extremely hospitable and professional and our driver Gilbert was outstanding. You can contact Julius by email at http://www.julius-safaris.com/ and you won't be dissappointed. Don't be fooled by going to anyone else as there are other operators who are trying to get business on the back of the JT Safari reputation. We were so pleased that we are planning a trip back to Kenya to be centered around a JT Safari to Masai Mara.JT Safaris are just superb and I would advise anyone to use them.

We had to send a deposit to Julius prior to our trip which made me a bit nervous! However, Julius is both honest and very well organised. Employing an excellent guide in Ben who was funny, full of exciting knowledge and really nothing was too much trouble. The actual safari lasted two days and the 8 members of our family were split into two jeeps which meant that we had tons of room. Tsavo East and West provided us with an abundance of wild life. We had lunch at 2 different lodges the food was very good. The 5 star lodge that we stayed in overnight was luxurious with the best food we had in Kenya. We saw every type of animal except Rhino. If you decide to go on safari you will be approached by men selling hat's telling you that you MUST have one. Please don't listen for us if was not necessary and we would have spent about £40 on something we didn't need!
In essence, we were so happy with our service that we booked a trip to Mombassa in an air conditioned car with JT. Which was cheaper than going by taxi from the hotel and the guide was excellent. You should use JT we are happy to recommend him to anyone!! Many thanks Julius we will hope to see you again one day!Tsavo East two days

Before we went to Kenya I already searched for a good and trustworthy safari company. JT Safari is good and trustworthy. From The Netherlands we made a appointment and they were right on time. You don't have to pay everything in advance, because they want to know if everything was OK. Julius even checked up on us by telephone during the safari. What a service! Something we also very much liked is the honesty about the safari trip, first we wanted to combine east and west in two days, but they didn't recommend it because we would be driving too much those 2 days. And even about the lodges they were giving good advice, since they told us honestly that we were choosing a magnificent location and view, but that the food wasn't the best of all lodges. We stayed at the VOI safari lodge and in our opinion the room was good, the food was good and the view was absolutely amazing! so to summarize; We loved the safari and when we come back, we will book with JT Safaris again without one any doubt. Thank you for the nice and beautiful trip.Julius Nzumbi, top man for Kenya safaris

the high spot of our holiday in Kenya was our Safari, we booked a three day safari with the one and only JT Safaris it was total magic. We had been in contact with Julius Nzumbi via e-mail from England letting him know the two lodges we had picked one in east and one in west tsavo. He arranged for us to be picked at the hotel and taken to his office, we made the final arrangements and not a penny was to changed hands until after the Safari and we were totally satisfied. We were picked up on time (06.15) by the lovely George he was a joy. A font of knowledge and could drive, spot wild life, give us all the information about the birds and animals we saw and listen to the unintelligible chatter of the other drivers telling each other what been spotted all at the same time. To say our safari was value for money would be an under statement and if you are thinking of booking one for your selves be very careful because other people are trying to trade off of Julius?s good name, have a look at his web site www.julius-safaris.com . No one we talked to about JT Safaris had a bad word to say, just praise. One couple wanted to book a day?s big game fishing, not a cheep day out, but Julius would not let them go because the conditions were not right. They did go the next week and had a super day, Julius was right.Genial ! Wonderfull !
